Stewart Wan, the Head of Innovation at Gammon Construction Limited, leads the Digital G and Innovation teams. His role revolves around strategic planning, the exploration and deployment of cutting-edge tech solutions like Digital Twin, AI, and smart devices in the construction technology and PropTech sectors.

With a rich career in technology, construction, and facilities management, Stewart has amassed considerable experience from his work in Hong Kong and China. Prior to Gammon, he served as the Director of Facilities Planning and Operations at HKCEC. There, he led a team of over hundred and oversaw daily operations, CAPEX projects, and technological transformations. He also played a pivotal role in ambient intelligence, integrating IoT into facilities management at HKCEC, launching a large-scale IoT project in 2018. His initiatives drove energy conservation and technology enhancements, upholding the Centre’s world-class standards.

In his career trajectory, Stewart has filled several senior roles across an array of commercial and semi-government entities in Hong Kong. He has been instrumental in integrating ICT and Green technology since 2001, and in 2007, he pioneered green building master plans and BIM processes in major developments such as the Hong Kong Science Park and the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Recognized by the Construction Industry Council and BEAM Society, Stewart serves as a panel member for BIM accreditation and an expert panel member, respectively. With an Engineering Doctorate in technology service management, Stewart is a chartered engineer and a proficient technology professional. His fellow memberships in various local and international professional institutions further endorse his credentials.
