Mr. Donny Zhang

Head of Manufacturing & China Ops

Donny is Head of Manufacturing & China Ops in Butlr Technologies. He’s responsible for hardware product development, production & supply chain management. He’s also in charge of cultivating new business opportunities and forging strategic partnerships in the Greater China market. Donny has rich experience in smart hardware and IoT products, both in the supply chain and the domestic China market. Before joining Butlr, he worked closely with many hardware startup companies, helped them develop new products from 0 to 1, and deployed them to market quickly with optimized costs. Donny is closely connected with HAX, the world’s largest hardware accelerator, and has helped with various projects covering medical, industry automation, smart sensing, education, agriculture, and many other areas. Donny has his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University and his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering & automation from Harbin Institute of Technology.
