Established in Hong Kong in September 2016, CocoRobo is an Ed-Tech company providing STEAM education products and service, including hardware, curriculum, software and cloud service. Our mission is to bring innovative ideas and technology into the education field of STEAM to be the most preferred partner for educators with the most user-friendly intelligence product series and curriculum system.

We create our own hardware and invent related software, e.g. our electronic modules CocoMod, education kits CocoKit, graphic programing platform CocoBlockly and PythonBlockly, cloud service CocoCloud, education platform EDU.CocoRobo. All the curricula are developed and written by in-house curriculum team. We have the copyright of all products.

Currently, more than 100 schools in Hong Kong and Mainland China adopt our educational kits and curricula, including primary and middle schools, incluing the ISF Academy, Ying Wa College, Sheng Kung Hui Tang Shiu Kin Secondary School, Shenzhen Yantian School, Shenzhen Luohu Affiliated School of Luohu Education Institute, etc. Meanwhile, we have long-term and in-depth cooperation with the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Education and Faculty of Engineering. We host some Robot STEAM competitions in Hong Kong and Shenzhen each year.

In 2017, our team received venture capital from the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Science Park Technology Incubator. Also, our company was covered by well-known mass media including China Daily, TVB, Ta Kung Pao and Ming Pao. In February 2018, we received more funding from China’s Innoangel Fund and Canada’s Saltagen Venture.
