We are thrilled to announce that our portfolio company, Vista Innotech (VIT), has received the gold medal at the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-value Patent Portfolio Layout Competition 2022“. This is a remarkable achievement and the first gold medal won by a Hong Kong team since 2019.
The competition, organized by various government departments including the Intellectual Property Department, has been held annually in the Great Bay Area (GBA) since 2019. This year, there was a cash award of RMB 4M for all the winners and RMB 200k cash award for each gold-award winner.
The award-winning Micro Gimbal Stabilizer (MGS), developed by VIT, is the smallest gimbal stabilizer camera with over 80 patents in various countries. The MGS can be adopted in most mobile cameras, including smartphones, drones, body-worn cameras, and robots.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Co-founders Kelvin Chu, Edward Mak and the entire VIT team for their dedication, hard work, and innovation that led to this remarkable achievement. We are proud of VIT and look forward to seeing more groundbreaking products from them in the future.
